FDC Acting Studio
FDC Acting Studio is committed to providing a professional, respectful and supportive environment for all clients. Please read the following policies carefully before booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
One-to-One Coaching
• Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
• Missed sessions without notice are non-refundable.
If the coach needs to cancel a session, clients will be offered either:
• A rescheduled session, or
• A full refund.
Exceptional circumstances such as illness or emergencies will be handled fairly and at the studio’s discretion.
Scene Study Classes (Group Sessions)
• All payments are non-refundable.
• If you are unable to attend and provide at least 48 hours’ notice by email, you may request a credit to use towards a future session.
• Credits are offered at the studio’s discretion.
• Bookings cannot be transferred or rescheduled outside of these terms.
This policy ensures classes can run smoothly and remain accessible to all participants.
Professional Conduct
FDC Acting Studio aims to create a respectful, focused and professional working environment.
Clients are expected to:
• Treat the coach and fellow actors with respect
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• Engage in sessions safely and responsibly
The studio reserves the right to pause or end sessions if behaviour falls outside these expectations.
Safeguarding
FDC Acting Studio is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment, particularly when working with children and young people.
• Clear professional boundaries are maintained at all times
• Parental or guardian consent is required where appropriate
• Sessions take place in appropriate professional settings or secure online platforms
• Any safeguarding concerns will be handled appropriately and, where necessary, reported in line with best practice
Clients, parents or guardians are encouraged to raise any concerns promptly.
Online Sessions
Online coaching follows the same professional standards as in-person sessions.
• Session links are shared privately
• Sessions are not recorded without explicit consent
• Under-18s require parental awareness and consent
• Clients should join from an appropriate and private space where possible
Privacy & Data Protection
FDC Acting Studio is committed to protecting your personal data.
Information collected may include:
• Name and contact details
• Session notes relevant to coaching
• Payment and invoicing records
Your data is used solely for providing coaching services, communication and legal financial record-keeping.
Personal information is stored securely and is never shared without consent unless required by law or safeguarding obligations.
